The Nevada Academy of Family Physicians will celebrating National Doctors' Day by hosting our third annual NAFP Family Medicine Day at the Legislature on Tuesday, April 8 from 7am to 3pm at the Nevada State Legislature, 401 S. Carson St., Carson City, NV.
One of our primary goals in hosting a family medicine advocacy day, is to build relationships with our state Assembly members and Senators.
Our secondary goal in hosting this day is to educate our legislators on the importance of Family Medicine and Primary Care. We plan to include medical students, residents, faculty and practicing physicians to give our legislators a clear picture of exactly what Family Medicine means in Nevada.
